When I was little people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said the standard things, Doctor, nurse, vet, teacher, artist and princess. You get the picture.
Never once did i think I would be a jeweler or blogging for that matter. But my short life so far has taken me in crazy twists and turns that landed me here. HERE is where I want to be. Honestly this is the best "job" I've ever had with the most amazing people I could ask for. So let me paint the picture of where I am.
My Name is Angela. I am a wife of 12 years and a mother of a 6yr old little girl. She is the light of my life and the reason I have this job. When the Husband received a job offer in Indiana we moved 650 miles away from anything we knew and started our new life with his Dad's side of the family. So long and short of it is My dear husband's Dad & Step-Mom own a jewelry store with her Brother. I found myself with a small child and a job I hated. I wished and prayed that I would find my place in this world without having someone else raise my baby girl.
I was crying to my family about my plight and Tina spoke up first. She said "why don't you come work with me? I almost fell over in gratitude for the opportunity. I said yes and the rest is History. I have watched, lessened and learned everything I could from her. I learn something new everyday, But with her support and love I have no doubt I will be the Best Jeweler in the Midwest. It dosent hurt that we have the top rated repair person here as well. ;)
So welcome along for the ride. My "goal" is to share some insight into the business, repairs and buying so you can be the most well informed customer possible.
